Well, let me tell ya ’bout this young fella, story, plays that there Counter-Strike game, the second one they made now, CS2 they call it.
Who is this story fella, you ask?
He’s just a young ‘un, barely out of his diapers, 21 or 22 years old, they say. Comes from some place called Portugal, far as I know. Plays this CS2 game for a livin’, imagine that! Gets paid to shoot at folks on a computer screen. Kids these days, I tell ya.
- Name: story, somethin’ like Joo Vieira, if you can believe that. Sounds like somethin’ you’d eat, not a person’s name.
- Age: Like I said, 21 or 22, depends on who you ask.
- From: That Portugal place.
- Job: Plays that there CS2 game.
- Team: SAW, whatever that is. Probably some fancy city folk thing.
Now, this CS2 game, it’s one of them shooter games. Terrorists and the folks fightin’ ’em, shootin’ and bombin’ and whatnot. Been around for a while, this game, but they keep makin’ new ones, like this CS2. Story plays it real good, they say. Wins tournaments and such. Gets his name up on the internet and all.
What’s all the fuss about then?
Well, folks like watchin’ him play, I guess. Seein’ how he shoots and moves and all that. They even got his set-ins, what they call ’em, all over the internet. Like how fast he moves his mouse, what kinda crosshair he uses, all sorts of fancy stuff I don’t understand. But these young folks, they eat it up. Tryna be just like him, I reckon.
They even talk about how good he does in them tournaments, somethin’ called ESL Pro League Season 19. Highlights and such. Folks record him playin’ and put it up on the internet for everyone to see. He’s like a celebrity, but for shootin’ at folks on a computer. Times have changed, I tell ya.
Some folks even say this CS2 game is better than the old one. Somethin’ ’bout how the shootin’ works better, and the movin’ too. But then there are others who say the old one was better. Always complainin’, these folks. Can’t just enjoy a good game, can they?
Now, they got all sorts of numbers and stats ’bout this story fella. How many folks he’s shot, how many times he’s won, all sorts of things. They keep track of it all. Like he’s some kinda racehorse or somethin’. But that’s how it is these days, I guess. Everything’s gotta be measured and tracked.
So, what’s the point of all this?
Well, I don’t rightly know. Just tellin’ ya ’bout this young fella, story, who plays that there CS2 game. He’s good at it, they say. Folks like watchin’ him. He makes a livin’ doin’ it. And that’s all there is to it, I reckon. Just another way to make a buck in this crazy world. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go make some supper.
