Well, let me tell ya about this Azure Ray Dota 2 team, ya know, the one them youngsters are always yappin’ about. I don’t know much about these computer games, but from what I hear, they’re a pretty big deal.
First off, they used to be called somethin’ else, Ybb Gaming, I think. Sounds like a bunch of gibberish to me, but hey, what do I know? They’re from China, that much I got. These fellas play this Dota 2 game, and they’re supposed to be pretty good at it, or so they say.
Now, this Azure Ray team, it seems like they’ve been havin’ their ups and downs. Sometimes they win, sometimes they lose, just like life, I reckon. They go to these big tournaments, and sometimes they do alright, and sometimes, well, they don’t do so hot. I heard they got like, eleventh or twelfth place in somethin’ recently. Not the best, but not the worst neither, I guess.
- They changed their name, that’s for sure. From Ybb to Azure Ray. Sounds fancy, don’t it?
- They got a bunch of players, but I can’t remember all their names. Too many for this old brain to handle.
- They play in China, and I hear they travel around to other places too, to play in them tournaments.
This team, it was started by some fella named Yang Yiqing. Then later, some other fella, Ye Yi, he took over. Sounds complicated, all this business stuff. I just hope they’re payin’ them boys decent, ’cause playin’ them games all day can’t be easy. I heard some of them players, like Somnus and chalice and fy, they even played for free at first. Can you believe that? Workin’ for free! Times must be tough, even for them computer game players.
And then there’s this Xm fella, he played for free too. Must be somethin’ special about this team, for folks to be willin’ to work without gettin’ paid. Maybe they just really like playin’ that Dota 2 game. I don’t get it, but then again, I’m just an old woman who prefers a good cup of tea and a chat with my neighbors.
But here’s the kicker, this Azure Ray team, they just up and decided to take a break. Said they’re goin’ inactive. Just like that! Packed up their toys and went home, I guess. Folks are sayin’ it’s ’cause of somethin’, some influence or other, but nobody really knows for sure. Maybe they just got tired of it all. Or maybe they’re comin’ up with some new tricks, who knows?
It’s like farmin’, you know. Sometimes you have a good harvest, sometimes you don’t. Sometimes the weather’s good, sometimes it’s bad. You just gotta keep on goin’, keep on plantin’, keep on hopin’ for the best. Maybe that’s what these Azure Ray fellas are doin’. Maybe they’re just takin’ a break, and they’ll be back, stronger than ever.
But for now, it seems like they’re gone quiet. No more clickety-clackin’ on them keyboards, no more shoutin’ at the screen, at least not for a while. It’s a funny old world, ain’t it? One minute you’re on top, the next you’re gone. Just like my prize-winning tomatoes last summer, here today, gone tomorrow.
Anyway, that’s about all I know about this Azure Ray Dota 2 team. Like I said, I don’t understand much about these computer games, but I hope them boys are doin’ alright. And I hope they come back soon, if that’s what they want. In the meantime, I’ll just stick to my tea and my garden. That’s somethin’ I do understand.
