Alright, so listen up, y’all. I’m gonna tell ya ’bout this big shindig they had over at that Chase Field place. Yeah, that big ol’ place where they play ball and stuff. This time, it wasn’t no ball game, though. It was a whole lotta rockin’ and rollin’!
Them fellers from Def Leppard and Journey, yeah, you heard me right, them famous bands, they came to town. And let me tell ya, it was somethin’ else. Folks were linin’ up like ants at a picnic, all eager to get in and hear them play.
I heard tell it was part of their big summer tour, the one they call the Summer Stadium Tour 2024. They had some other bands with ’em too, like that Steve Miller feller and that Heart band. But this night, it was all about Def Leppard and Journey. Chase Field, August 23rd, that’s the day it all went down.
Now, I ain’t no spring chicken, but I still like a good tune. And these fellas, they sure know how to make some noise! Def Leppard, they was loud and proud, playin’ all them hits like “Rock of Ages.” Heard they played somethin’ like 18 songs, can you believe that? That’s a whole lotta singin’, I tell ya.
- The show was at Chase Field.
- It was part of the Summer Stadium Tour 2024.
- Def Leppard and Journey were the main bands.
- Steve Miller Band also played.
And Journey, oh my, they were somethin’ special too. They sang all them songs that make ya wanna sway and sing along. I think they played somethin’ like 16 songs. Heard they sang “Don’t Stop Believin’,” and lemme tell ya, folks were singin’ along so loud, I bet they could hear us all the way over in the next town.
That Steve Miller feller, he was good too. He and his band played for a whole hour, sang about 12 songs. He had some catchy tunes, that’s for sure. But mostly, folks were there for Def Leppard and Journey, and they sure didn’t disappoint.
Now, I ain’t got the best memory, and I couldn’t tell ya the names of all them songs. But I do know this, it was a night to remember. Folks were dancin’, singin’, and havin’ a grand ol’ time. Even this old lady was tappin’ her feet and hummin’ along.
They said you could get tickets from that Ticketmaster place. I heard them tickets weren’t cheap neither, but folks didn’t seem to mind. They came from all over, I bet, just to see these bands play. It was a real big deal, ya know?
Chase Field was packed, I tell ya. Wall to wall people, all ages, young and old. It just goes to show ya, good music is good music, no matter how old ya are. And these bands, they sure know how to put on a show. Lights, music, everything was just top-notch.
So, if you ever get the chance to see Def Leppard and Journey, don’t you miss it. It’s a real treat, even for an old lady like me. They put on a show that’ll have you singin’ and dancin’ all night long. And that’s all there is to it. It was a good night at Chase Field with Def Leppard and Journey, plain and simple.
Just remember, August 23rd, Chase Field, that was the place to be if you wanted some good ol’ rock and roll. And let me tell you, those fellers, they rocked the whole place down. It was a night I won’t be forgettin’ anytime soon.
And like I said, I’m no expert, but I know what I like. And I liked that show. It was loud, it was fun, and it was full of good music. What more could ya ask for? So, if you hear them fellers are comin’ to your town, go get yourself a ticket and see what all the fuss is about. You won’t be sorry, I guarantee it.
That’s all I got to say about that. It was a great concert, plain and simple. The end.
