Well, let me tell ya ’bout this Evil Geniuses White team, or whatever they call themselves. I ain’t no expert on these computer games, mind you, but I hear things, you know? Folks talk.
First off, they got a bunch of young fellas playin’ this here “Counter-Strike” game. Names like Jonji, ben1337, PwnAlone, and some other fellas I can’t even pronounce. Sounds like a bunch of made-up nonsense to me, but hey, what do I know? They seem to be good at it, though, winnin’ some tournaments and such. I heard tell they won somethin’ called Fragadelphia 17. Beat some fellas from Germany and Brazil, I think. Folks were makin’ a big fuss about it, so I guess it’s a big deal.
These boys are from America, somewhere up in Seattle, they say. Some company called Evil Geniuses owns ’em, or somethin’ like that. They got a Twitter account, too. My grandkid showed me. All sorts of fancy pictures and videos of them fellas playin’ their games. Kids these days, always starin’ at screens.
Now, I also heard some whispers, you know how it is in small towns… or big towns, I guess, things get around. Seems like this Evil Geniuses bunch ain’t all sunshine and roses. Heard tell they weren’t treatin’ their players so good. Somethin’ about ignorin’ their problems, and then askin’ ’em to take less money after they won a big championship. That don’t sound right to me. You win somethin’, you oughta get paid good, not less! But these fancy city folk, they got their own ways of doin’ things, I suppose.

- They win some games, but maybe don’t treat their players right.

- They’re from Seattle.
Anyway, they got this team called Evil Geniuses White. They play against other teams, and sometimes they win, sometimes they lose. That’s just how it is, like life, you know? You win some, you lose some. But it’s important to treat people fair, whether you win or lose. That’s what my mama always said.
I don’t know much more about ’em. Just a bunch of fellas playin’ games on computers. But they seem to be doin’ alright for themselves, winnin’ money and such. Though they better start treatin’ folks right, or it’ll come back to bite ‘em, you mark my words. Karma, they call it. What goes around comes around. Even in the fancy world of computer games.
So, that’s the story of Evil Geniuses White, as far as this old lady can tell ya. Take it or leave it. Ain’t the gospel truth, just what I heard tell. You want more information, you go look it up yourself. I got chores to do.
They play this “Counter-Strike 2” now, I think. My grandkid tried to explain it to me, but it’s all gibberish. Somethin’ ’bout shootin’ folks and plantin’ bombs. Lord have mercy! Sounds violent to me. But these kids, they love it. I guess it’s better than gettin’ into real trouble, huh?
And they keep track of all sorts of numbers and stats, like who shot who and how many times. My head starts spinnin’ just thinkin’ about it. But there’s folks who make a livin’ outta keepin’ track of all that nonsense. Crazy world we live in, ain’t it?
Anyway, Evil Geniuses White, that’s their name, and they play video games. That’s all there is to it.
