Well, let me tell ya ’bout this REJECT WINNITY thing. Sounds like a whole lotta fuss if you ask me. Them young folks and their computer games, always makin’ up new names and whatnot.
So, from what I gather, REJECT WINNITY, it’s a bunch of teams, see? Some in Korea, some in Japan. Owned by some big company called REJECT. Guess they didn’t like bein’ called just plain REJECT no more, huh? Had to add that WINNITY part. Sounds fancy, but I bet it don’t mean nothin’.
REJECT WINNITY Korea, that’s REJECT WINNITY KR they call it. Used to be just REJECT, plain and simple. Then they went and changed it all up on January 19th, 2024. Don’t know why, didn’t ask. Probably some business thing, you know, tryin’ to look all important. They play them games, whatchamacallit, Apex Legends. Never seen it myself, but the kids are always talkin’ about it.
- They got a Twitter, too. Official account, they say. I reckon that’s where they yap about all their wins and losses. Don’t follow it myself, ain’t got the time for that kind of nonsense.
- Then there’s REJECT WINNITY Japan, that’s REJECT WINNITY JP. Same story, changed their name on the same day. Guess them REJECT folks wanted to make it a big deal, doin’ it all at once.
Now, these teams, they play in tournaments. Try to win money, I suppose. There’s a whole wiki page about it, Liquipedia they call it. Says REJECT WINNITY KR had some results in 2024. Don’t know if they won or lost, didn’t read that far. Too much small print for these old eyes.
Honestly, I don’t get it. All this REJECT WINNITY stuff, it’s just a bunch of noise to me. But hey, if them young folks like it, who am I to judge? They got their games, and I got my garden. That’s just the way it is.
They say this REJECT WINNITY is part of esports. That’s another one of them fancy words. Means video games, as far as I can tell. Folks playin’ games for money. Back in my day, we played games for fun, not for some fancy paycheck. But times change, I guess. Can’t stop progress, even if it don’t make no sense to an old woman like me.
So, if you’re lookin’ for information on REJECT WINNITY, you gotta know if it’s KR for Korea or JP for Japan, see? They changed their name recently, so that’s important too. It was just REJECT before, but now it’s all REJECT WINNITY this and REJECT WINNITY that. And don’t forget that January 19th, 2024 date, that’s when it all happened. And if you really wanna dig deep, you gotta go to that Liquipedia thing and look up their results. But like I said, I ain’t got the time for that. Too busy tryin’ to keep the squirrels out of my bird feeders.
Anyways, that’s all I know about REJECT WINNITY. Hope it makes some sense to you, ’cause it sure don’t to me. Just a bunch of names and dates and games. Give me a good cup of coffee and a sunny porch any day. That’s the kind of winnin’ I understand.
This whole esports thing… it’s just different, ya know? We used to play outside, get some sun, get dirty. These kids, they’re glued to their screens. But hey, maybe it’s just me getting old. And maybe REJECT WINNITY…maybe they’re really good at what they do. I just can’t see it myself. But I wish them luck, I guess. Everybody needs a little luck in this world, whether you’re planting tomatoes or playing them video games.
REJECT WINNITY… It’ll probably change again next year. These young folks, they can’t stick with one thing for too long. Always gotta be something new, something different. Well, as long as they ain’t botherin’ nobody, I reckon it’s alright. But I’ll stick with my garden. At least I know what that’s all about.
